ADP is hiring an Institutional Investment Consultant III. In this position you will act as investment consultant to an assigned book of clients, providing investment analysis and recommendations to a committee of senior managers of our largest customers. Customize investment recommendations to each plan’s Investment Policy Statement, providing periodic review of that IPS to keep current with regulations and industry trends. Participate in the investment committee at various levels based on experience and need. Heavy focus on investment analysis and review of fiduciary responsibilities. This position is the face of Strategic Plan Services "SPS" to the client and is viewed as an investment expert.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute and deliver periodic comprehensive investment reviews with clients in person or via conference call/web meeting. Effectively consult with SPS clients on custom Investment Policy Statements and deliver investment results and recommendations to committees consisting of C-suite executives of large ADP/SPS clients. Ensure complete client understanding of investment offerings, investment policy and current market environment. Help map new client’s current investment line-up to a recommended fund line-up after completion of a suitability questionnaire. Act as a member of the SPS Investment Committee that oversees all funds used in 3(38) and 3(21) engagements for 85,000 plans and over $25 billion in plan assets. Lead due diligence effort for SPS on an assigned list of asset managers, including 3(21) and 3(38) fund utilization. Conduct pricing reviews for assigned clients to increase retention and ensure plan fees are reasonable. Partner with client service and sales to identify revenue/risk opportunities and provide guidance/direction as to implementation strategy. Participate in Sales finalist presentations either in person or virtually for prospects ranging from $10 million to $250 million in assets. Proactively monitor client satisfaction with investment performance and provide timely plan analysis, industry trends and other market condition updates. Ability to effectively develop and deliver investment training to sales, client service and fiduciary training to client investment committees. Additionally, track dates of in person visits, client calls and proactive communications for reporting purposes to upper management. Initiate/lead projects that will increase the retirement plan investment knowledge of clients and internal ADP associates. Participate in the development of new tools and investment products by working with Retirement Services leaders. Utilize internal systems (AIS, Fluent, etc.) to set-up and edit investment line-ups as needed, and provide benchmarking to clients. Performs other related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
8+ Years Experience and knowledge in the financial markets and varying investment products. A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. MBA/master’s degree CMFC, AIF, CFS, ChFC, CFS, CFA or other investment related designations Comprehensive understanding of competitive advantages and disadvantages of investment products and fund families. Experience in managing executive level relationships / partnerships with clients and third parties. Ability to negotiate plan pricing based on client needs and current market conditions Industry Knowledge: Applies the understanding of industry terminology, process flow and structure to problem solving and communications. Collaborative Skills: Influences others through involvement in processes and decision making; builds and sustains relationships of trust and respect with others.
