Position Summary:
We are experts in the beer, wine and spirits industry looking for self-starters who work well collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our internship program focuses on hands-on experience to develop your skills with the opportunity to make a real impact on Breakthru’s business. As an intern with Breakthru, you will tackle projects alongside passionate team members who encourage new ideas, feedback and collaboration. Breakthru is committed to your learning and growth and will support you in maximizing your internship experience.
This is not a summer internship, this is an ongoing position. This role offers a flex work schedule M-F, 6 hours a day max.
**Job Description:**
Job Responsibilities:
Gain an understanding of the alcohol beverage industry. Interact with a variety of associates in your field and grow your professional network. Contribute to projects that will help drive Breakthru’s business forward. Develop key skills such as presenting, project management and your analytical acumen to help you succeed in the next step of your career. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
No prior experience required
Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
Analytic and Reporting skills
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
Competencies:
Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
