Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student intern to support our Quality Function team during the summer. The intern will focus on the digitalization of the Quality Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) process, Gemba walks, and the analysis of the Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ). This is an excellent opportunity for STEM-focused students to gain hands-on experience in quality management within a leading aerospace company. Key Responsibilities: Digitalization Project Support:** Assist in the digital transformation of the QRQC process by researching and proposing innovative tools and methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Gemba Walks Documentation:** Participate in Gemba walks to observe and document quality processes in action. Analyze findings to identify areas for improvement. Cost of Non-Quality Analysis:** Collaborate with the quality team to gather data on non-conformance issues and conduct analysis to quantify the Cost of Non-Quality. Develop presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with various departments, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on quality initiatives. Reporting and Presentation:** Create reports and presentations summarizing project progress, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders. **Job Requirements** Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related STEM field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with quality management concepts and methodologies (e.g., QRQC, Gemba, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. **But what else?
