This position will be responsible for the management of day to day movements, cycle counting, auditing and count & bin accuracy of warehouse inventory. Will also manage repack, damages, and slow moving stock, and will report inventory cost variances. The position will provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damages in the warehouse while utilizing the Warehouse Management System and SAP. The Inventory Analyst will partner with the Supply Chain Planning team to optimize inventory locations within the warehouse to increase productivity.

Process owner for Inventory Management, and best practices, within the warehouseProvide weekly inventory financial data, analysis and reportingServe as a key liaison to various internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirementsResponsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in WMSAnalyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysisManage inventory locations and site capacity, optimize locations for productivity and throughputLead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirementsRequired to be an active participant during internal/external inventory auditsManage inventory movement between buildingsAssure that slow moving product inventory is reviewed and disposition in a timely mannerMaintain positive, professional, and timely communications, within various internal customers, as well as with external contactsActively participate in the continuous improvement processAdapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirementsPerform additional duties as required QualificationsQualifications
4+ years’ experience in Distribution/Warehouse Logistics. BA/BS Degree preferred.APICS CPIM Certification preferredProven experience with inventory control processes & able to understand and perform root cause analysisDemonstrated financial acumen, ability to review, reconcile, and report, financial data related to inventory valueExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Blue Yonder (JDA, Red Prairie) a plusExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plusMust have strong organization skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlinesSelf-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolutionDemonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals.High analytical ability and advanced Excel reporting skills (vlookup, pivot tables, & macros)
