INVENTORY PICKER

SUMMARY:

The Inventory Picker is primarily responsible for the day-to-day picking of orders, updating order systems, and returning items to stock in the inventory area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily picking of component parts for customer work orders Input and monitor inventory information in tablet and/or compute Ensure parts are returned to their proper stocking location Ensure picked orders are delivered to appropriate areas Report inventory shortages to the Inventory Supervisor immediately Investigate inventory discrepancies when requested Maintain a clean work environment Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Basic math (measuring, use of calculator) Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and verbal instructions Ability to use weight scales Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk/hear Noise level is usually moderate for a manufacturing plant
