Within Wealth, the Chief Investment Office (CIO) team includes multi-asset class strategists who explain market views to internal stakeholders and external clients, generating actionable investment ideas and helping create new product solutions. The team is comprised of approximately 100 employees, located across the world.
**The role:**
Citi Wealth is seeking an Investment Writer to join the CIO team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public and private financial markets, investment strategies and wealth management, with an exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts in a compelling manner through our thought leadership framework.
The role is within the Business Strategy team in the Chief Investment Office, focusing on the overall positioning of CIO thought leadership aligned with the firm’s initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Investment Officer, investment strategists as well as Citi wide stakeholders to produce intellectual capital which engages clients across our segments and support the overall business objectives of Wealth.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop clear and compelling assets aligned with the CIO’s views, which includes market commentary, asset allocation strategies, thought leadership, education and assisting the Marketing teams on digital content.
+ Edit for quality, clarity, commerciality, style, and grammar to maintain high quality standards.
+ Adapt materials for audiences (advisors, clients) and regions.
+ Evaluate asset performance and provide recommendations to optimize thought leadership.
+ Stakeholder management through project and traffic coordination within Wealth and Citi.
+ Create materials within regulatory and Citi’s communication guidelines.
+ Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of experience in writing/marketing
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Exceptional editorial and writing skills.
+ In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.
+ Robust financial knowledge.
+ Understanding of regulatory guidelines in Wealth management.
+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously amid tight deadlines.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
+ Team player with good interpersonal skills.
+ Preferred: Knowledge of AI prompts, content management systems

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
