Responsible for general customer support for students, faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (350+ users).

Responsibilities

Responsible for general customer support, to include, but not limited to, as much of the following as possible:

Provides technical assistance for faculty, students and staffRespond to service ticketsPerforms troubleshooting of desktop computers and peripheralsMonitors Print Server and printing management softwareAssist with the operation of E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff, and student bodyAssist with network (wired and wireless) related issuesPrinter maintenanceSetup andmaintain AV systems of OSCE roomsAssists students and instructors with Canvas/Yuja issuesTroubleshoot Zoom issuesOther duties as required by the IT Director Qualifications

Education/ Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.At least 2-4 years IT experience.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Team player with the ability to work independently when necessaryExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsAbility and strong desire to learn new technologyGreat communication skills while dealing with customersKnowledge of Windows Workstations and Mac OSX.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & OutlookBasic understanding of Audio-Visual equipmentInternet researchMust be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
