What would you do as a Java Test Developer - Intern?

As a Java Test Developer Intern in CLIQ Web Manager Team, you will be working with one of the most important and successful products in our portfolio. As part of our team, you will support our Engineers and learn from highly qualified specialists. We expect you to support software engineers with all aspects of software development.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

· creating and executing tests for new features and reporting found defects in ticketing system

· maintaining in healthy condition automated and manual test scenarios

· troubleshooting reported issues individually and together with the Team

· contribution in testing strategy implementation and improvements

Some natural aspects of the role will involve writing and improving the test codebase, participating in system design discussions, contributing to a solid and reliable architecture, setting-up work standards and contributing as an active member in a development team.

 

The skills and experience you need

· Good experience with testing with Java and Selenium

· Experience in testing of REST APIs and knowledge of API testing tools (Postman etc.)

· Working with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins

· Knowledge of performance testing tools e.g. JMeter

· At minimum, basic awareness of threats to software security (for example, familiar with OWASP TOP 10).

· Experience in working in Scrum/Agile.

· As our common business language, you should be communicative in spoken and written English. 

· Strong team player, with cross functional team collaboration skills.

 

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be a plus:

- Automation and scripting experience in the technologies like Ansible, Shell

- Docker, Kubernetes

- AWS
