Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Job Captain with a strong working knowledge of design principles and aesthetics, as well as familiarity with space planning methodologies and furnishings and finishes. This role requires intermediate sketching and rendering skills, advanced Revit skills, and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

ResponsibilitiesAssist designers in selecting fixtures and finishes for interior design projects.Provide suggested details for interior design projects at the direction of designers.Research and collect details for furniture and finish cost estimates.Develop preliminary plans and perform space planning and test fits.Conduct field surveys and produce technical drawings.Ensure compliance with building systems, codes, and ADA regulations.Administer contracts and manage construction documents.Essential SkillsAdvanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills.Technical drawing and engineering design expertise.Experience in space planning, furniture design, sketching, and rendering.Understanding of building systems, building codes, contract administration, and ADA regulations.3-5+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects.Graduate of architecture or design school, or equivalent experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with budgeting and cost estimation.Proficiency in construction document preparation.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to drive change.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
