**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Journeyman** **Engineer** to join our team in the **Patuxent River/Lexington Park, MD** area. This is an **onsite** position. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems + Will review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation + Will perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management + Will analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems + May provide tasking and supervision to lower-level employees on the program + This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%) **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific or related area of study + 4+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and or systems engineering + Proficient with Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word + Experience working with one or more of the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP, Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Navy aircraft or surface ship systems + Experience writing and executing ECPs + Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS **Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current and active Secret clearance **Physical Requirements:** + Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC. + Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
