Overview We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to join our Sales team and grow with us. This role is perfect for someone who’s eager to make a meaningful impact—managing a portfolio of accounts while also supporting the broader team on strategic customers and key initiatives. In this role, you’ll be responsible not only for delivering results with existing customers but also for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Whether it’s launching a new product, opening new retail doors, or chasing the next big account, you’ll play a key role in helping SodaStream grow its footprint across Canada. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, use data to support decision-making, and gain exposure to national account strategy. While previous account management or CPG experience is preferred, what matters most is your eagerness to learn, take initiative, and make things happen in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned retail accounts, including Home Hardware & Staples Support team members who manage strategic national customers through planning, execution, and performance tracking Develop and execute promotional plans, product launches, and joint business initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain Analyze customer POS and internal data to monitor performance, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities Support new business development by identifying potential retail doors, leading onboarding processes, and coordinating cross-functional setup (Legal, Finance, Category, IT, Supply Chain) Maintain accurate forecasts, sales plans, and trade investment tracking; assist with budget management and ROI analysis Create and deliver customer-facing presentations, promotional recaps, and sales proposals using Excel and retailer portals Partner with the Field Team to ensure in-store execution and visibility align with account strategies and brand standards Participate in cross-functional initiatives to support category growth, operational improvements, and strategic alignment Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required Perform other sales-related duties and support tasks as assigned Qualifications University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar role within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or retail industry preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret POS, shipment, and Syndicated data, derive insights, and support fact-based decision-making Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) and PowerPoint; experience with retailer portals is an asset Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Self-starter with a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team members and cross-functional projects
