What this job involves – Under minimal supervision, perform Lab Services functions supporting the customer’s R&D community.  Interact with customer base and collaborate with JLL colleagues to maintain a successful partnership and exceed expectations.  Perform other Lab Services duties as directed by supervision. The position may require the employee to work with chemical and biological agents that may be hazardous to health if mishandled (including agents which may potentially affect reproductive health and/or development of the fetus). Employees will be required to follow all safety procedures and use personal protective clothing/equipment as provided by the company where specified.

What is your day to day?  

Fulfill internal requests submitted by the customers.Maintain stockroom and point of use inventories according to the thresholds determined by customers’ stockroom manager(s).Communicate with supervisor regarding supply stock, material needs, software upgrades, etc.Assist with laboratory supply stockroom, and site inventories.Collect and supply metrics as required by management.Maintain a safe and clean working environment within the laboratory and office.Complies with all JLL and customer company policies and procedures and adheres to JLL company standards.Where applicable, comply with all GXP regulations and documentation while performing services.Collect and supply metrics as required by management.Assist and participate in cross-training efforts for all applicable Lab Services duties.Performs other duties within Lab Services department as requested by management.Maintains open communication with the Lab Services and Facilities Management team.

Monday through Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Desired experience and technical skills 

Required

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Comply with all safety standards and policies required for site, department, and job function.Must be a team player committed to working in a safe, high-performance, and quality-driven environment.Must comply with all safety standards and policies required for site, department, and job function.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with management and employees at all levels within an organization, including customers.Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment.Must possess a valid driver's license and complete appropriate training based on vehicles utilized where applicable.

Preferred

Prior knowledge and experience in a regulated research environment such as the pharmaceutical, medical device, or other Life Science industry preferred.Prior experience with inventory management systems, purchasing systems, and other scientific applications preferred.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

60,000.00 – 65,000.00 USD

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
