We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to support our team by preparing samples, materials, and mixtures for testing products to ensure consistency, durability, and quality.
ResponsibilitiesOperate lab equipment to strengthen, balance, blend, and mix products to achieve desired test results.Work safely and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and dust masks when required.Collaborate extensively with powder and adhesive products to perform tests as requested by Chemists, Supervisors, and Group Leaders.Document all test results and findings accurately.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of chemistry and quality control.Experience with wet chemistry and titration.Proficiency in using lab equipment for strength testing, mixing, and blending.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent with chemistry courses required.A minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry or with construction products such as grouts, mortars, and adhesives.Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry is preferred but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.A strong drive and passion for learning and growth within research and development.Work Environment
The position is based in a lab environment with a work shift from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The lab technician will be part of a team of 20-30 individuals and will be required to wear PPE for safety.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
