Location: Camden, NJ

Compensation: $35.00 to 38.00 an hour

Duration: 9 months contract to hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedLab Technicianto join our small but dynamic laboratory team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong chemistry background and hands-on experience in oil testing and quality control. You’ll be working in a well-established company that has been a trusted partner to major utility companies like PSE&G since 1957.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized testing on used motor oil, including:Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash PointBS&W by CentrifugepH testingPCB testing using Gas Chromatography (GC)Total Halogens using Dexsil Test KitFollow all lab safety protocols and SOPsAccurately document and report test resultsMaintain lab equipment and cleanlinessCollaborate with team members and report to Lab Supervisors (Sandip/Tom)

Must-Have Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field3+ years of laboratory testing experience, specifically with PCBs using GC2+ years of experience with BS&W, Flash Point, and Total Halogens testing using Dexsil Test KitProficiency with pH meters and general laboratory procedures

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with wet chemistry techniquesBackground in oil testing and quality controlFamiliarity with writing or following SOPs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
