Job Description
As a Lab Technician, you will operate production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, and Manufacturing Directions. You will execute procedures associated with the production of cross-linked hyaluronic acid products and review manufacturing documentation for compliance. The role also involves coordinating sample preparation and testing, recording data into Batch Records and log books, documenting all work activities according to Good Documentation Practices, and recommending document revisions. You will report procedural deviations and nonconformance to management.
ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment according to SOPs, Batch Records, MD, and OPM.Execute procedures for cross-linked hyaluronic acid product production.Review manufacturing documentation for compliance.Coordinate sample preparation and testing.Record data into Batch Records, log books, and OPMs.Document all work activities following Good Documentation Practices.Recommend document revisions.Report procedural deviations and nonconformance to management.Essential SkillsProficiency in SOP and GMP.Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing.Knowledge of cell culture.Understanding of chemicals, including acids and bases.Aseptic technique skills.Sample preparation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent with biomanufacturing/pharmaceutical experience.0-1 years of experience in a biotech manufacturing environment.Ability to gown and gain entry to biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing.Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.Work Environment
The work environment includes a shift schedule of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Friday during training. Post-training, shifts may change to Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will work alongside 6-8 other team members in a business casual setting. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
