Lab Technician
Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pilot Equipment Operator to set up and operate various equipment, including evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers, as part of our testing processes. This role involves managing hoses, pumps, heaters, and centrifuges while meticulously recording data outputs such as pressure, temperature, and chemical data. You'll also engage in analytical testing, including titrations, spectroscopy, and microscopy, contributing to product development per customer applications.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate pilot equipment such as evaporators, crystallizers, and boilers.Operate simple hoses, pumps, heaters, and centrifuges throughout testing processes.Record and document outputs from equipment, including pressure, temperature, gauge levels, and chemical data.Perform analytical testing such as titrations, spectroscopy, solids composition, crystal characterization, and microscopy.Document all laboratory results and collaborate with team members for product development.Follow basic laboratory practices and maintain a safe, clean working lab space.Essential SkillsExperience in any kind of laboratory setting and testing.Base understanding of lab processes.Ability to work night shifts as the equipment operates 24/7.Experience in chemistry, biology, titration, and reverse osmosis.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in reverse osmosis and crystallization.Experience in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or inorganic chemistry.Open to candidates with multiple years of experience, entry-level candidates, or those without a degree but with lab experience.Open to chemical operators with medium to high level of experience.Work Environment

This role is based in a lab environment, working alongside approximately 15 colleagues. The position operates on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., as the systems and testing need to be performed continuously.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
