We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers **Job Description** **Key responsibilities for this role include:** + Ensure the correct drums are used for chemical storage and transport. + Verify lot numbers, ensure appropriate labels and stickers. + Follow safety standards. + Obtain forklift certification and perform material handling operations, as assigned. + Operate forklift and other manufacturing tools and equipment. + Collect lab samples without contamination or spills. + Use sterile techniques, proper tools, and follow protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure sample integrity. + Communicate equipment status and outages to supervision, as needed, for correct, safe operation. + Follow proper disposal procedures, segregate waste types, and use designated disposal containers. + Assist with operational, quality, and safety reviews, as assigned. + Maintain housekeeping and safety requirements. + Trained in site JSA and Risk Assessment programs and participates in laboratory JSAs and Risk Assessments. + 40-hour Haz-Whooper trained + Perform other duties, as assigned **REQUIREMENTS** + High school diploma or GED required. + 3-5 years’ experience in chemical handling; high purity chemical, pharmaceutical, or military experience preferred. + Manufacturing Technician III level competency level or higher. + Minimum 2 years’ fork truck experience on either sit down or standup fork trucks. + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb, and reach. + Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. + Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team. + Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. + Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization. + Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends. + Ability to work overtime as needed. + Trained in equipment inspection process. + Trained and participate in site JSA and Risk Assessment programs. + Trained in customer complaint investigation and ability to conduct investigation on all containers. **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS** We value a professional, adaptable, and collaborative work environment.
