Job DescriptionAs a Lab Technician, you will manage technical service requests, ensuring thorough documentation, timely status updates, and effective communication with requestors. You will conduct both routine and complex tests and analyses, maintaining precision and efficiency throughout. consistently.
ResponsibilitiesManage technical service requests, including documentation and communication.Conduct routine and complex tests and analyses.Maintain laboratory equipment, products, and supplies.Perform preventative maintenance and manage shipments.Ensure lab cleanliness and support standardization and 5S practices.Execute application and laboratory test plans for material and process characterizations.Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.Solve problems independently with minimal supervision.Contribute to quality improvement and cost-saving initiatives.Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate Degree in Scientific Discipline or similar (Materials Science and Chemistry most relevant).Experience in adhesives or coatings (1-3 years ideally).Hands-on experience with tensile testing, pressure sensitivity testing, peel testing, melting and mixing plastics.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
