Are you ready to join our team as a Laboratory Technician I? As a contract employee, you will have the opportunity to work full-time from 03-Mar-2025 to 31-Aug-2025 at our client's location in Beaumont, Texas. Our client is a leader in the chemical industry and we are looking for a skilled individual to join their quality control team.
Role Overview
Perform quality control testing on chemicals and products. Maintain accurate records of test results and communicate any discrepancies. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any quality issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies. Provide support for research and development projects. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Work onsite at the client's facility in Beaumont, Texas.Skills & Qualifications
Quality Control: Experience with quality control testing and procedures. Chemicals: Knowledge of chemical properties and handling procedures. Quality: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards. Optional requirement: Experience in a chemical laboratory setting. Additional Detail: Familiarity with JD IN FILES. Work onsite: Ability to work onsite at the client's facility.Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred. Certification: Relevant certifications in quality control or laboratory techniques advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a laboratory setting.Pay & Benefits
