Job Title: Landscape Architect
Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our landscape architecture projects, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional designs. This role involves working on public projects, including schools, universities, parks, hospitals, and multi-family and mixed-use developments, throughout their entire lifecycle from conception to construction support.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing conceptual and schematic designs for landscape architecture projects.Prepare detailed design drawings, plans, sections, and specifications.Conduct site analysis, including site inventory and assessment of environmental, social, and physical characteristics.Coordinate with project teams to ensure design integrity and project goals are met.Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and proposals.Manage project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables under the guidance of senior staff.Participate in client meetings, presentations, and workshops.Communicate design concepts and solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders.Address client feedback and incorporate revisions into design documents as needed.Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS for design and documentation.Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and best practices in landscape architecture.Ensure designs comply with local regulations and codes related to landscape architecture.Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.Collaborate with contractors and consultants during the construction phase to ensure design intent is realized.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects.Mentor junior staff members and support their professional development.Essential SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) or eligibility to pursue licensure in the near future.5 plus years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, preferably in a design firm or consultancy.Proficiency in design software - AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong design and graphic presentation skills.Knowledge of sustainable design practices and principles (LEED certifications, experience selecting sustainable materials).Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Revit experience is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
