Job Description

The Laundry Room Attendant is to ensure that all Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa and Golf linen is clean and inventoried

Responsibilities Operating ironer and pressFold linen to standardRun necessary linens thru the reclaim processKeep laundry room clean and neat. 

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

 Cross-training in proper as a Houseperson and Turndown.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.Assist in other departments as neededAttend monthly departmental meetings

 

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

Vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, sponges, dust cloths, etc.Assorted cleaning chemicals as outlined in MSDS manualsHousekeeping cart/caddyTelephone and radio Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirableNeat and pleasant personalityAbility to work on feet for extended periods of timeAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
