Qualifications: Required: + High school degree or equivalent + Good verbal and written English communication skills + Ability to travel to various sites within region as needed Preferred: + 1 Year job experience preferred within department, + Experience with electronic medical records preferred + Proficiency with internet based technologies including Microsoft office, data entry, and navigation of multiple applications Schedule + Full Time Day + Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm Certifications and Licenses Required: + N/A Essential Functions: Provides onsite scheduling and manages waitlist for multiple disciplines at the local level, Responsible for optimizing booked rates by collaborating directly with onsite leaders and clinical staff to coordinate schedules, Assists the PAS Team Site Manager in the over site of ensuring staff are providing exemplary customer service utilizing the Service Excellence Standards set forth by the organization while interacting with all customers internal and external, Supports the PAS Team Site Manager in the area of orienting new staff and mentoring current staff related to customer service skills, Assists in training support staff on scheduling related tasks on as needed basis, Maintains assigned scheduling primary job function which includes obtaining accurate clinical information in order to make a sound judgment as to which services are required for the appointments Obtains intake information, including demographics, insurance information, referrals, and scripts timely and accurately Schedules appropriate appointments based on reason for referral and intake information Schedules follow up therapy first treatment appointments when needed Adheres to departmental quality standards for scheduling appointments and interacting with customers either in person or via the telephone Interacts with both internal and external customers adhering to the Service Excellence Standards Assists with ensuring that staff embrace and integrate Service Excellence standards into every interaction with patients, families, and internal customers when scheduling appointments Works closely onsite with clinicians to manage and optimize access to care for patients and families to achieve optimal booked rates Meets regularly with site leaders to manage schedules of clinical staff Actively manages waitlist for local sites and, along with PAS Site Manager, provides suggestions to local clinical leaders for needs based on waitlist Schedules appointments based on requests from local site clinicians, leaders, and patients and families Ensures accuracy of intake information, inclusive of demographics, insurance information, referrals, and prescriptions, if needed for services line Utilizes HRO principles, inclusive of AIDET, Five Tones, and validate and verify to provide excellence in customer service and the patient experience Able to think creatively and proactively while maintaining adherence to guidelines, policy and procedures Actively participates in meetings and huddles as per department requirement, Maintains productivity expectations and supports the PAS Team Site Manager in oversite of department productivity expectations, Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees physical, emotional, social, and financial health. + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Medical and Prescription Drug Insurance + Dental and Vision Insurance + Retirement Plans + Short & Long Term Disability + Life & Accidental Death Insurance + Tuition Reimbursement + Health Care/Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts + Wellness Programs + Voluntary Benefits (e.g., Pet Insurance) + Discounts Through our Partners such as NJ Devils, NJ PAC, Verizon, and more!
