Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Civil Engineer to oversee the FEED and Detailed Design of our production facilities in Thailand. This role requires a strong background in civil and structural engineering for buildings and petrochemical plants, with in-depth knowledge of Thailand’s regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, structural integrity, and safety in all civil engineering aspects of our projects.

Responsibilities
Civil & Structural Engineering: Lead and oversee FEED and Detailed Design for civil and structural components. Develop and review design calculations, structural drawings, and construction specifications. Ensure compliance with Thailand’s building codes, petrochemical plant regulations, and international standards. Provide technical expertise in foundation design, steel and concrete structures, and geotechnical assessments. Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure safe and cost-effective designs. Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with Thai regulatory requirements and international best practices. Interface with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies to secure necessary approvals. Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and safety reviews to ensure civil engineering aspects align with project safety goals. Project Execution & Coordination: Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure civil/structural design requirements are met. Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operations phases. Support project scheduling, cost estimation, and risk management related to civil works. Lead civil-related construction reviews, quality control inspections, and problem-solving efforts on-site.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on FEED and Detailed Design for buildings and petrochemical plants. Strong knowledge of Thailand’s civil engineering regulations, building codes, and permitting processes. Experience with structural analysis and design tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, etc.). Proficiency in foundation design, steel structures, concrete structures, and geotechnical engineering. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and project execution strategies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
