As the Lead Consultant, Enterprise Partnerships, you will support strategic choice-making to drive growth for the enterprise via partnerships. This role will help stand up a centralized portfolio team that works with executives and teams across the enterprise to develop opportunities, incubate new opportunities and implement and refine the initial process, tools, and governance focused on partnership capabilities.
You will support both existing and new partners, working with and advising business stakeholders on opportunities, engagements, partner relationship strategies, and team management, all while ensuring the strategic, operational, organizational, and financial levers will drive the desired impact.
Key Competencies: This role requires an ability to be a part of a team vision in service of the enterprise, embrace new thinking and ways of working, while holding teams accountable to clear milestones. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment interfacing between leaders and partners across the organization.
Lead bodies of work to support the development and execution of partnership strategies and overall portfolio management
Drive data analysis, industry and competitive evaluation, consumer insights, and financial modeling needed to assess opportunities and guide strategic decision-making
Craft and deliver compelling business and result stories, including designing and facilitating key enrollment moments with internal and external partners
Maintain strong relationships with partners and leaders – serves as the connector to enterprise and functional partnership teams, liaising in the management and assessment of progression throughout the partnership lifecycle
Support the structure, negotiation and closing of a deal
Contribute to a clear vision for the team and the projects, turning insights into action
Travel required up to 15%

About You:
Four-year degree required
5+ years’ work experience in sales, corporate strategy and/or consulting, with experience working in or supporting retail industry
Experience supporting end to end strategy, including assessment, analysis, problem solving, developing, and activating multi-year business strategies
Experience evaluating strategic opportunities and developing business cases through data-driven analysis, market assessment, consumer insights, and financial modeling
Strong verbal and written communicator and skilled facilitator, able to design impactful engagement moments and craft clear narratives that drive alignment and action
Build relationships to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively influence without authority to drive business decisions and advance long-term strategic efforts
Change management experience a plus, with the ability to assess the tools, processes, routines, capabilities, and investments to make strategies a reality
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
