Lead Controls Technician
Job Title: Lead Controls Technician - NO TRAVEL, 4 ON 4 OFF SHIFTS, flexible on days!

Job Description

Manage troubleshooting and support for electrical issues on production lines as well as facility equipment and infrastructure across the campus. Conduct routine and advanced PLC program modifications through project upgrades and maintenance troubleshooting activities. Develop new control systems for automation projects.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA code compliance.Lead troubleshooting for equipment PLC programs to minimize downtime.Create new PLC programs where necessary.Design and implement control systems using sensors, motion control, and feedback loops.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills4-6 years of relevant electrical controls technician experience in manufacturing.Strong communication skills.Ability to interpret and apply NEC, NFPA, and OSHA codes.Familiarity with 3 phase electrical power applications.Experience with RS500, RS5000, Studio5000, and View Studio.Experience with servo motors and controls.Demonstrated ability with PLC troubleshooting, interface, and programming skills.Ability to be a team player.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide guidance to others.Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and prints.Work EnvironmentThe work environment consists of 80% manufacturing and 20% office. This role does NOT require travel. There is one first shift role and one night shift role, each working 4 days on and 4 days off. They will work with your schedule to figure out which days work best for you.8 HOURS OF OT BUILT INTO SCHEDULE EVERY OTHER WEEK - will give you time and a half. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.27/hr.
