Job Title: Lead Marine Drafter/Designer (100% onsite)
Job Description:
Under minimal supervision; use computer-aided software to develop drawings and schematics based on layouts, sketches, or redlines.Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of machine and products.Review technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.Develop properly constrained 3D models of complex assemblies.Additional Qualifications:
Associates degree in Drafting or related scientific discipline; OR completion of formal resident trade school or apprentice program in drafting.Autodesk Certified Professional in Inventor for Mechanical/Electrical Design or in AutoCAD for Design and Drafting certification preferred.Six (6)+ years of experience as a drafter preparing Level 3 engineering drawings, circuit schematics, and illustrations using AutoCAD for shipboard electronics systems or equipment.Five (5) years of experience drafting/illustrating in the electronics field, to include:Computerized drafting applications.Digital imaging techniques.Use of AutoCAD/Inventor or similar software.Plan and prepare graphic presentations of complex item.Experience with DoD processes and procedures.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
