Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.

We are seeking a Lead Optician to:
Join the UW Health Eye Care Team who provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Oversee and mentor Optical staff. Provide direction, coaching and motivate staff to achieve objectives and provide excellent patient care. Assist patients with selecting the right fit, shape, style of eyewear and dispense contact lenses. Perform eyeglass repairs and adjustments.
Education:
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred –
Completion of an accredited Optician Vision Care Program Some continued education courses
Work Experience:
Minimum –
Computer experience required Previous eye care experience Minimum 1 year or more supervisory or leadership experiencePreferred –
