Job Summary: This position is an active Learning and Development Manager leading their team of Learning and Development Facilitators, Instructional Designers, and Technical Writers in designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs across the CES organization. As well as identify and address employee skill gaps, aligning learning initiatives with business strategic initiatives. The L&D Manager collaborates with CES Management in facilitating career development by assessing individual needs and delivering targeted training programs. Duties and Responsibilities: + Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning approaches, to address identified needs for the Customer Engagement Centers (CES) departments. + Manage the training request pipeline. Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and prioritize learning objectives across different departments and levels within the organization. + Track and evaluate the effectiveness of CES training programs using metrics such as post-training assessments, behavioral changes, and business impact. + Ensure accurate and timely tracking of instructor-led and web-based learning activities in the AmeriGas Learning Management System. + Reviews new and existing training materials produced to determine appropriateness, comprehensibility, and relevance. + Facilitate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and coaching sessions to deliver learning content effectively. + Work closely with HR, department managers, and subject matter experts to align training initiatives with organizational goals and ensure stakeholder engagement. + Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports. Identify high-potential employees and design personalized development plans to support career progression. + Keep abreast of new learning trends, methodologies, and technologies to continuously improve L&D programs. + Establish quality standards for training materials, reviewing content for consistency and effectiveness. + Manage administrative functions associated with instructor-led training including training environments, web and classroom scheduling. + BPO Liaison/Evaluations: Lead Quarterly train the trainer, training evaluations, close loop feedback. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Demonstrated team management skills essential. + Proven Leadership experience necessary. + Proven project management skills to manage timelines effectively. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. + Proficiency with authoring tools, LMS platforms, and multimedia development software. Education and Experience: BA/BS in Business, Learning & Development or related field or equivalent experience preferred. Professional certification a plus More than 6+ years progressive experience in training with management experience. Expertise in various instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) Proven design and develop of training programs, including e-learning modules, in-person workshops, and blended learning experiences. Propane industry business knowledge preferred. AmeriGas system knowledge: CRM, SAP, SuccessFactors, Ancile, Poppulo, etc. Key Characteristics: + Up to 20% travel + Program Management – Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. + Resource Planning – Identify, plan, and schedule necessary resources for training schedules, new training program requests, and on-going material updates. + Needs Analysis - Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill and content gaps and prioritize learning objectives and expected outcomes. + Facilitation - Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage learners in training sessions. + Instructional Design - Proficiency in designing effective learning materials and delivery methods. + Communication – Expertise in written and verbal communication, skilled in editing content, documents, policies & procedures, and training materials. The pay for this position ranges from $89,200.00 to $115,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
