Learning Consultant – Chicago or Decatur, IL. or Erlanger, KY.

Job Summary:
The Learning Consultant helps execute the Learning & Development strategy by designing and delivering learning solutions aligned with business needs. They collaborate with stakeholders, identify performance gaps, and deliver impactful solutions that drive business value.

This position reports to the Director, Learning and Development. Our preference is Decatur or Chicago, IL. or Erlanger, KY. however we will consider candidates that are located out of any major U.S. ADM facility/office (no remote work-option is available).

Key Responsibilities:The Learning Consultant supports Learning Directors and Learning Partners in the execution of the Learning & Development strategy through consulting and delivery on appropriate learning solutionsThey help apply the understanding of key business priorities/processes and internal and external best practices to learning solutionsPartners with key stakeholders to identify performance needs and gaps, collaborates with design experts and the operational support team on desired performance and business outcomesDevelops and maintains strong business relationships and learn from and apply insights from an integrated learning networkSuccess in this role depends on a candidate's ability to apply adult learning theory in their area of responsibility, collaborate with others to design and deliver high impact learning solutions, and deliver business value through learning interventionsAssist in determining learning strategies and plans based on identified needs and gaps to achieve business strategyProvide critical input to the curriculum design and development team responsible for overall planning of learner experiences and solutionsEnsure these deliverables drive business relevance and impact and provide a modern, compelling learning experienceDeliver training and facilitate training content to first and second line leadersMeasure and report impact of learning programs against set metricsUse data and feedback to continuously improve training solutions and outcomesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field, with 5 years or related experienceAt least 2+ years of leadership experience and minimum 1 year of experience facilitating/ delivering learning solutionsAbility to engage with colleagues around business goals and outcomes, and support decision-making that aligns with the company’s objectivesAbility to work with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, including the ability to build and maintain critical networks and collaborative relationshipsExperience in applying concepts and practices of adult learning to meet the dynamic needs of the businessExperience in assessing competency gaps and identifying what people need to learn for successful individual and organizational performanceAbility to leverage data driven insights to drive decisionsProject planning and project management experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear and engaging manner. Good at listening and asking questions to understand others' viewpoints and gather useful insightsAbility to travel up to 40% of the time  Must have a valid drivers licenseExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
