The selected candidate must be proactive and possess strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Your excellent time management and organizational skills will help you glide through your days. Here is a sample of your responsibilities: Heavy calendaring, docketing file management, and e-filing Assist with opening and closing of client matters Revise, edit, and proofread a variety of legal documents File hard copies of documents and maintain electronic document system Maintain the case calendar and observe deadlines Collaborate with attorneys on key discovery and e-filing Attention to detail and organization is essential Follow up with your attorneys on deadlines and manage their docket effectively Assist with special projects as needed You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will be consistently interfacing with clients and other attorneys at your firm.
