Legal Assistant
Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that requires on-site work three days per week, supporting the corporate legal team and assisting the General Counsel's office. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and providing comprehensive administrative support, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage calendars, including scheduling appointments and meetings for the General Counsel's office. • Prepare agendas, take detailed meeting minutes, and ensure accurate documentation of corporate discussions. • Organize and facilitate board meetings, including planning logistics and coordinating necessary materials. • Provide administrative support to the corporate legal team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. • Assist with maintaining corporate records, including updating and tracking meeting minutes. • Manage client relations by responding to inquiries and ensuring effective communication. • Collaborate with team members to prepare and distribute meeting materials. • Support claim administration processes and ensure timely follow-up on legal matters. • Utilize software tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, and Aderant to streamline legal tasks. • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations in all legal support activities. Requirements • Proven experience in a legal assistant or similar administrative role within a corporate setting. • Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and other legal case management software. • Strong skills in calendar management and scheduling. • Ability to take accurate meeting minutes and prepare well-organized meeting materials. • Familiarity with claim administration processes and corporate legal operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relations effectively. • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. • Capability to work on-site three days per week in Reading, Pennsylvania.
