A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the M&A In-House Legal position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, service and licensing agreements. Provide legal support and strategic advice on corporate matters, including investment activities, cross-border transactions, and M&A processes such as reviewing term sheets, shareholder agreements, and related documentation. Offer practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring business initiatives are executed with proper legal risk assessment and regulatory compliance. Advise on deal structuring, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with various departments and external legal partners. Partner with the compliance team to support policy development, conduct training, manage investigations, and address compliance-related risks. Contribute to corporate governance efforts, including contract database management, maintaining corporate records, and supporting regulatory filings. Act as a liaison with external legal advisors and provide legal input on global compliance, regulatory, and transactional matters.
Participate in special assignments or risk-related initiatives as required.

Requirements: Degree in Law (LL.B or J.D.) from a recognized institution, with legal qualification preferred. Min 2 years of legal experience, ideally within an in-house environment or in corporate, commercial, or transactional practice areas. Solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and commercial legal principles. Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills. Experience in maritime, logistics, or related industries will be considered advantageous.
