Job Title:                    LGV Driver Class 2                                 

Location:                  Thetford, IP24 3QS

Salary: £34,947 (plus shift allowance dependant on start times)

Hours: 8/9 hours per day with shifts of Monday - Friday, or Monday - Saturday. Usually starting from 3/3.30am.

Reports To:                CDC Manager

Job Purpose: To ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products to customers within corporate guidelines, adhering to Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use.

Key Accountabilities and Job Description Summary:

Understanding of WTD and hours management.Correctly sorting and delivery of orders on multidrop.Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.Adherence to loading and checking off procedures, Product scanningMaintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.Damages awareness and procedures.Understanding productivity and Driving standardsImportance of security.Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.

You should have previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Delivery Driver, HGV Driver or similar and have a willingness towards being flexible and supporting other team members as required in addition to following attributes..

Good CommunicationContributing to Team SuccessInitiating ActionSafety AwarenessFull driving license relevant to the vehicle driven.Excellent communication skills and customer care.Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy.Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable.Route planning experience.

Manual Handling Requirements: This role involves essential manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending. Applicants must be able to perform these duties. No reasonable adjustments can be made for candidates unable to fulfill these requirements.
