We are excited to invite a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, working in collaboration with our prescribers, therapists, and case managers to provide crucial support to underserved individuals struggling with mental health issues or substance use disorders.

As an LPN, you will play an integral role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of personalized nursing care, utilizing your clinical expertise and sound judgment. You will provide care, including IV therapy, in alignment with UPMC’s LPN Practice Guidelines, policies, and state regulations.

As the ideal candidate, you will have an active LPN license in good standing, be CPR certified, and demonstrate flexibility in your approach to patient care. While prior experience in a mental health setting is preferred, it is not required. This is a full-time, daylight position, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care using sound judgement. Plan, implement, and evaluate care. Communicate when care exceeds scope or if a patient’s condition changes.  Follow policies and seek guidance. Set goals and care plans with patients. Document and communicate thoroughly. Improve patient safety, qualify and satisfaction.  Build relationships and support new staff.  Perform duties as assigned.
