Under general supervision, IMPLEMENTS, COORDINATES and REGIONALIZES P&C Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education training. Coordinates the training of these areas for all associates. DEVELOPS regional P&C classes and modules. SERVES as a liaison between associates and management. ASSISTS in the development of future Continuing Education Courses and Workshops. PREPARES associates for the State Licensing Examination.
Essential Functions:
1. IMPLEMENTS and COORDINATES the Property & Casualty Pre-Licensing Class. Works to improve the success of students sitting for the state exam by routinely reviewing subject matter and current testing standards.
2. COMMUNICATES expectations for behavior and performance in the classroom.
3. COUNSELS trainees on behavioral and performance problems and recommends disciplinary action when necessary.
4. ACTS as a consultant and DEVELOPS and PRESENTS regional continuing education modules based on regional requests and needs.
5. REVIEWS legal and regulatory bulletins to ensure that pre-licensing and continuing education courses are in compliance with state statutes.
6. INVESTIGATES, RESOLVES and/or IMPLEMENTS solutions to work related problems. May RECCOMEND changes in procedure.
7. CONSULTS with department Managers to ensure that all associates are licensed promptly.
8. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
9. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.
