Lighting Services is seeking a support specialist with experience in Power Distribution to help support ongoing work related to shared services and lighting offerings to customers within their service region. This person will primarily work within the company's proprietary estimating system, JETS. They will estimate and price out jobs for the group by gathering technical information and specifications on lighting projects. Most of the support work will be in areas of municipalities and commercial/industrial related customers.
Responsibilities:Work within the company's proprietary estimating system, JETS.Estimate and price out jobs by gathering technical information and specifications on lighting projects.Support municipalities and commercial/industrial customers with lighting services.Verify work to be conducted for customer requirements in the field.Design required updates or alignments for the support of lighting agreements from customers.Essential Skills:Experience in Power Distribution.Estimating and technical specification skills.Proficiency with JETS, utility, GIS, and drafting.Knowledge of Distribution, Design, Lighting, and Secondary Distribution.Familiarity with NEC and NESC.Experience in electrical drafting and CAD Design.Engineering degree or technical training.Ability to read and create electrical drawings using Electrical and Instrumentation CAD design tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Degree in engineering or related technical training.Experience supporting utility or services at a tier one level of operation.Knowledge of NEC and NESC specifications.Work Environment:
This position will start remote, working in the field as projects occur through the sales group. As customers shift back to the office through the reentry plan, you may be required to work from the corporate office and surrounding areas. The position is non-hazardous, does not require PPE, medical monitoring, or specific licenses or certifications.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
