Job DescriptionOwens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. seeks in Muskogee, OK manufacturing facility to be responsible for continuous shift operation to maximize production performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters. Set forming and pack goals. Implement and refine improvement ideas to maximize the performance of the line. Align resources in the plant’s personnel (operators, mechanics, etc.) to focus on all areas of the process center. Responsible for all audit compliance for Quality, Safety,
GMP, Procedures, Swabbing, and Forming. Ensure correct use of safety equipment and that company safety policies are followed. Act as a change agent (leader) to instill a Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement culture on site and in related areas of the company. Ensure through audits that tools are appropriately and effectively used. Ensure lean principles are appropriately taken into consideration at all stages of the process improvement project.
QualificationsMust have High School Diploma (or foreign equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience in glass manufacturing.
The two (2) years of experience must include one (1) year in leading personnel, and one (1) year in applying Lean Six Sigma. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
Domestic travel required up to 5% for training and/or project work, to be reimbursed by the employer. In addition, standard benefits will be offered.
Work Hours: Full time (40 hours/week, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)
Additional InformationThe expected salary for this position is $111,623.00 – $115,000.00 per year.
