Job DescriptionABOUT YOUR ROLE
Ensure the logistics and transportation of materials and finished goods on time, based on best practices, always in an ethical manner.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Assume any responsibilities and tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor and perform them in a satisfactory manner.
Maintain their work area in a safe, orderly and clean condition.
Follow the internal work regulations and safety requirements established by the company.
Actively participate in the improvement of the quality/safety and environmental management system, based on procedures and instructions, as well as share, understand and comply with the quality/safety and environmental policy.
Ensure the update and maintenance of the logistics database.
Track & trace: monitoring of delivery process with logistics suppliers and agents (ensures that all the shipments programmed and prepared arrived on time).
Daily planning to ensure logistics efficiency.
Program the pickup and delivery of shipments.
Prepare logistics paperwork for import and export operations.
Keep paperwork up to date.
Participate in support team meetings when your presence is required.
Operates in an ethical manner.
QualificationsWHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Bachelor degree related to the position
One year of work experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related field
Knowledge in Import & Export/ Customs is required
Knowledge in Domestic & International Freight in/out is required
English 60%.
Knowledge in Carta Porte.
CTPAT, OEA knowledge is a plus.
Analytical thinking.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience of utilizing a computer based inventory system.
