General Summary of the Job:
Reporting to the Global Logistics Services (GDS) Manager, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the logistical management of sales orders shipping in compliance with relevant import/export restrictions & legislation. The Logistics Specialist will also be required to support additional areas in the production environment as required, CD/DVD replication, printing and assembly of all associated documentation and SW kits.
Essential Functions: Shipping internationally having significant experience of export/import compliance Competent in the preparation of import/export documentation and associated documentation Experience in the picking & packing/processing of Sales Orders in accordance with industry standard practices Experience of incoming receiving processes and associated industry standard procedures and practices Proficient in third party carrier/freight forwarder tools Experience of warehouse working & processes Perform accurately receiving of incoming materials, process/good receive purchase orders and associated industry standard procedures and practices Manage inventory as required, ensure accuracy of all inventories, SW and HW always and report any discrepancies to team leader Skills and Abilities Required: Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools and in Microsoft Outlook & Teams Team oriented individual with a ‘can do’ attitude, able to communicate effectively at all levels and manage concurrent activities High levels of self motivation and discipline, commitment to continuous improvement and high quality assurance standards Be able to work on own initiative in a high pressurized dynamic environment. Excellent attention to detail Have good inter-personal skills and able to deal collaboratively with internal/external parties. Knowledge of industry standard health and safety/manual handling procedures Education and Experience Requirement: Minimum of high school diploma 1 years’ experience in Logistics & Customs, Export & Import Preferably has experience within a multi-national company environment Forklift license an advantage
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: This role can expect a normal office and warehouse environment. Must be prepared to accommodate a flexible working hours environment, ensuring that at crunch times partners in other time zones have easy access to support. Weekends or holidays may be required in support of critical business needs

The hourly range for this position is $22.69 to $40.86 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
