As an LPN on this team, you will use your nursing knowledge and skills to assist with timely, effective and efficient care throughout treatment. You can also take advantage of the countless professional and educational resources offered by Cleveland Clinic. **A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM - 7:30AM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Collect, document and report patient data and observations. + Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. + Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions. + Perform routine laboratory tests. + Educate patients and family members. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program + Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) within one year of hire Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + One year of patient care experience Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
