Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $16 ($18.13 after 3 week training course)

Schedule: 6:45PM - 6:45AM (2ON/2OFF/3ON)
 

What's the Job?

Operate slitter machine to production, waste, and quality standards. Take note of malfunctions in the equipment and product, correcting them as needed. Properly document, set up and handle raw materials in preparation for the process. Prepare, place, and remove paper rolls as necessary for the process. Verify that production quantity meets customer needs.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED, college education a plus One year of manufacturing or mechanical experience. Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to set-up machine and operation. Experience with Microsoft Office for logging and documentation. Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record.
