Job DescriptionRepair basic industrial pumps used for blending and transferring hazardous chemicals.Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment.Operate Bobcat, dump truck, plow, and welding equipment as needed.Handle general facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, sweeping floors, and cutting grass.Act as the first response to spills within the facility.Conduct additional maintenance-related tasks such as cutting and threading pipes and replacing forklift batteries.Preventive maintenanceMechanical aptitudePump and piping experienceIndustrial maintenanceElectrical knowledgeMechanical skillsExperience with rotating equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsPipefittingCapability to operate mobile equipment and use maintenance tools safelyComfort with climbing laddersHeavy industrial maintenance experienceExperience with hydraulicsWelding experienceChemical or pump repair experienceFamiliarity with lockout/tagout procedures
Work Environment
The work environment is a full-service chemical storage, handling, and distribution logistics setting, specializing in hazardous chemicals. As one of the largest hydrogen peroxide providers in the U.S., the company operates in a heavy-duty, industrial setting where candidates must be comfortable working near hazardous chemicals. With around 100 employees, the company is non-union, and candidates should be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, as 50% of the workday could be spent outside.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
