Responsibilities Must be able to comply with facility safety regulations, including wearing of proper PPE, and following general required facility safety practicesPerform time-sensitive work, with focus on work quality and reliabilityAddress any emergency calls while on the job site, particularly relating to production sensitive itemsAble to work independently and/or with teams of varying disciplinesEffectively communicate, verbally and written, with floor operators to understand equipment related malfunctions, failures, and general defectsTroubleshoot machine/equipment/system issues, and be able to effectively communicate findings to the team leader or other direct supervisionPerform product/line changeovers, setup, and test runs to ensure equipment performance is within established quality and productivity standards Perform routine scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and reportingReport on parts inventory and submit requests as neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities for the following:Motors, couplings, and other driveline partsGears, pulleys, tensionersChain and belt driven conveyorsVacuum and pneumatic systemsPrecision alignment and timing of mechanical devicesGood ability to navigate and troubleshoot through the use of PCs and Human/Machine InterfacesExperience troubleshooting equipment controls, including:Encoders (timers / counters)Position transducers and material sensing devices
