Overview Location: McDonough, GA Pay: $19.60/hr. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 5pm Overview: This position reports to the Operations Supervisor and will be responsible for damages, cleanouts, and general housekeeping within the warehouse . Position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity (e.g., Dry, Cooler and Freezer areas). Responsibilities + Ensure that the selecting isles are aligned, and product is brought forward. + Ensure that the floor is kept clear of any debris that would hinder the selecting process. + Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup. + Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned. + Safely operate all equipment utilized to perform tasks associated with role. + Safe operation of Fork truck, clamp truck, Floor scrubber, battery changing station & ride on/walk behind pallet jack. + Maintain Company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct. + Maintain proper and safe lifting techniques. + Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment. + Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions or accidents. + Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoup damages and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and NDCP food safety requirements. + Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies. + Provide equipment for the selecting process, i.e., cardboard separators and pallets. + Power wash trash receptacles, general cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick- up and use of compactor, may be required to work with cleaning chemicals. + Assist in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. + Use a headset to find individual items within the warehouse + Attend all required Company meetings. + Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices. + Cross train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications + Ability to operate shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-warp product + Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, pallet jack, high lift) + Ability to work flexible days and hours.
