Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Manager to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of packaging and production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with PLCs, automation systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various production machineryDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesComplete emergency/unscheduled repairs during production downtimeRead blueprints, manuals, schematics, and work orders to determine work proceduresMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work ordersTroubleshoot down equipment and work to maximize machine uptimeCollaborate with Maintenance Supervisors, Engineers, and fellow techs to resolve complex problemsFollow all GMP, SQF, and plant safety policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work Experience
Preferred Experience & Skills:5+ years of experience in a maintenance or electro-mechanical technician roleStrong troubleshooting experience with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and automation equipmentFamiliarity with 480V 3-phase systems, VFDs, motor controls, and control panel wiringHands-on experience with hand/power tools, welding, fabrication, and machiningAbility to read and modify AutoCAD electrical schematicsKnowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, and/or Automation Direct softwareExperience with HVAC systems, air compressors, chillers, and ventilation equipmentUnderstanding of GMP, LOTO, Arc Flash, 5S, and OSHA standardsTools & Equipment Used:Forklift, scissor/boom liftsGrinder, plasma cutter, torchBandsaw, lathe, pipe threaderHand and power toolsPhysical Requirements:Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climbUse of hands for handling tools and parts; ability to lift up to 50 lbsStrong visual and hand-eye coordinationMust be comfortable working in moderately loud and variable temperature environments
