Position: Maintenance Project Leader

Hourly Rate: $25/hr

Location: Greater Pittsburgh Area, based out of the Homestead area

Schedule: Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position includes on-call responsibilities and may require additional hours during inclement weather. All hours worked beyond the core schedule are fully compensated.

 

Devereux/TCV Community Services is hiring a Maintenance Project Leader!

 

 JOB SUMMARY:

 

Manages day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team. Organizes and details project assignments from start to finish. Prioritizes project schedules in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, driven by Center need. Responsible for carrying out the preventative maintenance schedule. Directs, coordinates and performs the maintenance of buildings and grounds in accordance with foundation policy and licensure requirements.  Acts as a maintenance lead responsible for building repair, plumbing and electrical, painting, lawn care, snow removal, maintain all equipment and tools in proper working order. Participates in the maintenance on-call rotation. Performs other duties, special assignments and projects as required.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

 

Oversee cost-effective purchasing and resource management while maintaining quality standardsSupport project planning, estimates, and contractor coordination in collaboration with the Facilities ManagerDiagnose and resolve maintenance issues using proper tools and safety proceduresLead or participate in department meetings and support departmental operations as neededManage time efficiently, prioritize multiple tasks, and lead project teams for timely completionEnsure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standardsMonitor and correct potential hazards, maintain equipment, and document safety practicesSupervise contractors and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligationsParticipate in inspections, safety committee initiatives, and promote a culture of safety and professionalism

Qualifications

Qualifications:

High School diploma is minimum for position.Four or more years related experience. Good documentation and organizational skills. Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and change activities quickly. Requires ability to make swift and sound decisions independently. State PA criminal, FBI, PA Act 168, and PA child abuse clearances required.Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.Valid PA driver’s license

 

 

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periodsOccasionally lift up to 100 lbsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentReliable transportation is required. While company vehicles are available for work-related tasks, employees may occasionally use their personal vehicle
