Maintenance Supervisor - Foundry
Our Client, an Agriculture Products company, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their Waterloo, IA location. Responsibilities: + O versee skilled trades employees who maintain foundry equipment. + Leading safety, environmental, and ergonomic initiatives. + Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and ergonomic regulations. + Supervising preventive maintenance and timely completion of tasks. + Collaborating with maintenance engineering for equipment repairs and improvements. + Providing necessary training and resources for personnel. + Driving engagement in safety processes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. + Handling overtime work as required by production needs. + Fostering a positive employee environment through effective communication and guidance. Requirements: + Proficient in SAP plant maintenance for scheduling and purchasing. + Minimum of 2 years in industrial equipment maintenance. (hydraulics, cylinders, motors, heavy industrial experience) + Skillful in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems. + Effective planning and adaptability to changing conditions. + Knowledgeable in OSHA CFR 1910 regulations. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. + Strong communication skills and team-oriented problem solver. Desired Skills: + Experience with RS Logix for machine troubleshooting. + Understanding of 480V Power Distribution. + At least 5 years of foundry maintenance experience. + Minimum 5 years in maintenance supervision. + Proven team leadership capabilities. + Competence in managing changes for improvement. + Familiarity with wage/union policies and procedures. + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a foundry environment.
