Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems throughout the assigned facilities.Must possess the ability to perform general mechanical repairs.Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.This position may require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.Perform other duties as assigned.Why BayCare?Our network consists of 16 community-based hospitals, a long-term acute care facility, home health services, outpatient centers and thousands of physicians.
