Overview The maintenance workers are responsible for the specified and/or general upkeep of the Harbor Light Complex and its surrounding grounds (i.e. mini-park, parking lot). This position pays $16.00 /hr Responsibilities + Notify the Facilities Manager and co-workers regarding any delays with work projects . + Floor maintenance – i.e. sweeping, mopping & buffing floors. + Flooring – i.e. installation of sub floor, VCT tile and cove base. + Facility garbage – removal and disposal of all trash. + Restrooms – cleaning/sanitizing urinals, toilets, sink and mirrors. + Replacement of light bulbs, lens, switches and wall plate covers. + Loading and unloading of deliveries and dumpsters. + Installation / removal of window air conditioning units. + Cleaning of roof and drains. + Snow shoveling/plowing, salting of all HLC facility sidewalks, driveways, entrances and parking lot. + Assist lead maintenance worker and co-workers with various assignments. + Thoroughly complete and return paperwork in a timely fashion. + Operate elevator as needed + Must be able to work overtime in case of an emergency or when deemed necessary. + Work in a laundry room with temperatures around 90 degrees.
