Join a dynamic and passionate team dedicated to building exceptional relationships and delivering high-impact brand experiences and membership access benefits. This role is central to developing and driving world-class experiences that enhance customer and prospect engagement across the American Express. From music and entertainment to travel, business, and sports, you will bring unique and memorable experiences to life that foster loyalty and build lasting customer value.

This position leads the team responsible for developing and delivering all brand experience and membership benefits programs within Amex, including those supported through strategic sponsorships and partner advertising and content. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, manage delivery, and evaluate performance to ensure initiatives align with key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team of assistant managers, responsible for the development and delivery of all the Brand Experiences and Membership Benefit Partnerships. This includes contract negotiation, partnership management, through the line partner advertising and reporting. Negotiate, lead, and optimise differentiated partnerships that deliver exceptional brand experiences and benefits, elevating the brand and maximising customer value. Develop customer insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to ensure our experiences resonate with Card Members, are meaningful, and drive measurable business impact. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders – including agencies, partners, sponsorships, and business units – to ensure the timely and effective delivery of experiences and benefits across channels. Collaborate with Business Partners at senior levels across Australia and New Zealand to align strategies and activate programs that support enterprise business priorities. Measure and evaluate brand experiences and benefits to drive business outcomes. Oversee budget and resource management across the team, ensuring effective investment prioritisation.

Qualifications:

Extensive relevant experience in marketing. Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on talent development and team engagement. Experience designing and executing end-to-end marketing brand experiences and membership access benefits that meet business objectives with a focus on partnership marketing Proven track record in media planning, campaign creative, and agency management. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.
